Business Class created cultural outstallation” Jackson Swinton by pairing veteran recording artists and producers Matt Goias and Fancy with three eccentric downtown scenesters. The Business Class vision consisted of a living audio-video art project that would showcase the wild-eyed optimism of the new youth of New York City and their wanton ebullience, as embodied by charismatic Twins Dee and Ricky Jackson and their child hood friend Jonathan Swinton. The project is a caricature of today’s post-rap, post-gangster, post-rock, post-punk stylistic hybrid. The outstallation encompasses a variety of disciplines including music, fashion, and the unscripted day-to-day antics of the Twins themselves.
The music component of the project includes Bang Time Fun Bomb, an EP of genre-defining music inspired by frivolous, late night New York City fun. The singles, written and produced by the Business Class team, feature verses by all three boys as well as a few guest appearances by various rap and reggae up-and-comers.
